The MISSION project was representedat IFAT 2026, one of the world’s largest trade fairs for environmental technologies, held in Munich, Germany, from 4 to 7 May 2026. The participation took place as part of a Water4All session at the Blue Stage, a conference area dedicated to water-related topics. Stine Göransson Aanrud, representing MISSION partner SINTEF (Norway), presented the project's approach to sensor-based cyanotoxin detection, highlighting its contribution to sustainable water management and environmental innovation.
The session brought together several Water4All projects, creating an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences among different European initiatives. On the sidelines, Stine exchanged ideas with Harald Sommer and Niklas Trautmann, representatives of two other Water4All projects, as well as with session organisers Simon Frank and Anne Petzold.
A dedicated Water4All wall at the conference venue drew interest from researchers, public institutions, and industry representatives, reinforcing the visibility of ongoing European water projects among an international audience.
